Agent Admits Liverpool Star’s Dream Move to Real Madrid Is Now Off the Table

There’s been some interesting talk surrounding a Liverpool player and a potential move to Real Madrid. Liverpool seems to be close to resolving some ongoing contract situations. Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah are reportedly set to sign new two-year deals, but Trent Alexander-Arnold’s future is still uncertain at Liverpool.

There are increasing rumors that Alexander-Arnold could be making a move to Real Madrid this summer on a free transfer, and it seems he might have already struck a deal with the club. On another note, the agent of a key Liverpool player has voiced a keen interest in having him play for Madrid one day, even though the player is still under contract for another three years.

The player in question is Ryan Gravenberch, who joined Liverpool from Bayern Munich in the summer of 2023 for £34 million. After a challenging first season at Anfield, he’s started to shine under manager Arne Slot. Gravenberch struggled for game time at Bayern and, along with his agent, Jose Fortes Rodriguez, was eager to move to a place where he could get more opportunities.

Rodriguez shared that he had a conversation with Bayern’s coach back then, letting him know that his client needed more playing time, or he would consider leaving the club. He felt that moving to Liverpool FC would be a very good and perfect opportunity for his client’s growth and development as well.
Recently, Rodriguez has openly expressed his hope for Gravenberch to eventually play for Real Madrid, despite the midfielder’s contract with Liverpool extending until 2028.
He acknowledged that while Gravenberch is performing well and is an important asset for Liverpool, a move to Madrid would come with a hefty price tag. Rodriguez confidently stated, “He’s good enough for Real Madrid,” indicating the high regard in which he holds his client’s potential.
