Previously, Alcaraz made headlines as the most expensive signing in Flamengo’s history in 2024 after moving from Southampton, although he initially struggled to meet expectations. His return to the Premier League in January marked a fresh start, and he left a lasting impression under David Moyes, highlighting his potential with a crucial goal that secured a victory against Newcastle United.
