His ability to influence games and attract the interest of elite clubs as he gets ready to maybe return to England during the summer transfer window is evident.

Chelsea is actively pursuing strategies to bolster their squad depth before the upcoming Club World Cup, which is slated to kick off this month. Recently, they completed a notable £30 million transfer for striker Liam Delap from Ipswich Town, indicating their intent to strengthen their front line. According to RMC Sport, an agreement in principle has been reached between Chelsea and Gittens, with the young winger reportedly agreeing to a substantial seven-year contract that reflects the club’s belief in his potential.Furthermore, the negotiations between Chelsea and Dortmund are ongoing regarding the transfer fee for the England Under-21 international. According to reports, Gittens’ contract has a €60 million (£50.5 million) release clause that was triggered after Dortmund qualified for the Champions League on the last day of the Bundesliga season.

Chelsea is under pressure to complete their deal for Gittens by 7 p.m. on Tuesday, as the summer transfer window is about to close. This time is critical as they prepare to open their Club World Cup campaign against Los Angeles FC on June 16. Chelsea’s need to finish its roster quickly is demonstrated by the fact that they will face Flamengo on June 20 and ES Tunis on the same day to finish their Group D section of the competition.
