Estevao Willian Dazzles, Palmer Impresses in Chelsea’s Pre-Season Win Over Leverkusen

Chelsea got off to a flying start in pre-season with a crisp display to beat Bayer Leverkusen in their first friendly since coming back from the Club World Cup. Estevao Willian scored his first-half goal to clinch the victory, and Joao Pedro added a late second, but the most pleasing aspect was how the game was played.

Estevao Willian had a dream start, netting early to put Chelsea ahead. The new Stamford Bridge favourite kissed the badge in celebration before his jubilant fans. The Brazilian could have had a second as Chelsea created plenty of chances during a rampant first half. The second half was much the same, with bright moments before an eager crowd, capped by Pedro’s finishing touch.
